Our Registered Social Workers specialise in clinical counselling are trained to conduct assessments of an individual's functioning; including their biological, psychological, social, emotional and cultural needs. Our therapists focus on a holistic approach, considering the entirety of a person's identity, offering a perspective that connects outside factors to the root causes of their presenting challenges. This focus helps clients to build strategies to manage their mental health by becoming aware of the interconnection between body, mind and spirit. Therapy can come in a group setting, individual setting or with couples and families.
Additional certifications in evidence-based therapeutic treatments such as, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Integrative or Holistic Therapy, (IHT) Solution focused therapy (SFT), Mindfulness Based Therapy, (MBT) and Interpersonal therapy (IPT), in addition to their 2 year Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW ) which involves supervised client hours.

Like Social Workers, Psychotherapists use a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Brief Therapy.

Brooklyn has experience supporting children, teens, and adults who may be experiencing: - Emotion dysregulation - Eating disorders - Substance abuse - Self-criticism building - ADHD - Mood disorders - Confidence and Self-esteem issues - Trauma - Relationship and attachment challenges She has an eclectic style of therapy that is tailored to who her clients are for a truly personalized experience. Some therapeutic modalities include solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), emotion focused therapy (EFT), and compassion-focused therapy. Kelly holds a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, and Master of Education from Brock University, as well as a Master of Science in Pediatric Psychosocial Care from McMaster University. With over five years of teaching experience, Kelly is a registered member in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers and has dedicated her career to helping learners of all ages and needs. Kelly began her career as a special education resource teacher, developing tailored learning approaches for students with diverse challenges. This experience deepened her commitment to one-on-one support and inspired her to focus on academic tutoring. Known for her empathetic and patient approach, Kelly creates a safe and encouraging environment where students build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills. Through her tailored support, she has helped students improve their self-regulation, boost academic confidence, and navigate complex learning challenges. Trained in pediatric psychosocial care and child life support, Kelly provides compassionate guidance to children facing emotional, developmental, or medical challenges, such as adapting to new diagnoses or managing anxiety around procedures like bloodwork. Her expertise as a child life specialist allows her to offer services such as age-appropriate coping strategies, developmentally appropriate teaching, and medical play that help children process or prepare for upcoming potentially difficult experiences with confidence. Her holistic approach empowers each child to feel supported and capable of overcoming obstacles.
